Major changes since initial accreditation: No major changes since this course was offered for the first time in 2013. The course has evolved and adapted to new knowledge, evidence and scientific developments along time. Feedback from annual students’ evaluation of the course has been considered to improve content and methodology.
Student evaluation: Annual course evaluations are very positive for this course. In general, students ask for a more practical approach or applicability opportunities. The final assessment gives them an opportunity to apply acquired knowledge and skills, but they would like to have more of it.
Lessons learned: Practical approach and applicability opportunities should be considered when developing activities in the course.
tropEd accreditation:
Accredited in Umea, January 2014. Re-accredited in October 2018 and June 2023. This accreditation is available until June 2028.
